Accra Great Olympics Goes Back For Coach Walker

Teshie-based football club Accra Great Olympic have announced the return of their former head coach, π™³πšŠπš—πš’πšŽπš• π™°πš—πš—πš˜πš› πš†πšŠπš•πš”πšŽπš›.

The Club announced his return in a social media post on Monday, three days after FC Samartex announced mutual contract termination agreement.

β€œTheir nightmare is back. Home Sweet Home,” a post on Monday said with another on Tuesday officially welcoming him.

Coach Walker is reported to have signed a two-year contract with the club.

His return comes as a surprise as he was linked to Hearts of Oaks job.

β€œHahahaha, I thought this man was going to Hearts of oak. Ah well,since he’s gone back to his roots,Hearts should go in for Bernard Don Bortey as their coach,” one social media user commented.

Another commented, β€œIndeed, his absence nearly sent you to wilderness. This body posture only deserve your team.”

He joined Samartex from Great Olympics at the beginning of the 2022-23 season.

Under his watch, the Club placed 10th in their debut in the Ghana Premier League with 46 points from 34 matches.

Samartex managed 12 wins, 10 draws, and 12 losses, scoring 28 goals and conceding 29 in the process.
